Native Coders Cookie Policy

OUR POLICY FOR COOKIES

According to the Electronic Communications Act (https://pts.se/en/english-b/regulations2/legislation/electronic-communications-act/), anyone who visits a website with cookies must be informed about:
  • That the site contains cookies.
  • What these cookies are used for.
  • How to avoid cookies.
  • We must also ask your consent to use cookies.

WE USE COOKIES ON OUR WEBSITE

These cookies are mainly used to count the number of visitors. A cookie is a small text file sent from our web server and stored on your computer or computer-like device, such as a mobile phone. The text file is not malicious and contains no program code. Cookies are used to provide visitors with access to various features on our site and they give us statistics on how visitors use our site. Our cookies contain no information that can be paired with an individual or IP address.

WHAT DIFFERENT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE THERE?

There are two types of cookies. One type saves a file for a long time on the visitor’s computer. The cookie has an expiration date. Once the date has passed, the cookie is automatically deleted the next time you return to the site that created it. The other type of cookie lacks an expiration date and are called session cookies. They are only used during your visit to the site. The cookie is then temporarily stored in your computer’s memory and automatically disappears when you close your browser. Native Coders uses both types of cookies.

HOW DOES NATIVE CODERS USE COOKIES?

Here are examples of how we use cookies on nativecoders.se:
  • To improve how the site is built based on how visitors use it.
  • To get reliable visitor statistics.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

On our site, we also use third-party cookies, which are cookies by external parties that we hire to measure, for example, the number of visitors to our site and to evaluate traffic.

HOW DO YOU SAY NO TO COOKIES?

You as a visitor choose whether you accept cookies or not. If you want to avoid cookies on your computer, you can do so by setting your browser’s security or privacy settings so that it automatically denies cookies or informs you that a web page contains cookies. Choosing not to accept cookies may affect the functionality of our services. Further information about cookies can be obtained from the National Post and Telecom Agency (pts.se).

Team Structure

Team structure refers to our people in Kenya, where we have our main organization, and covers both the technical team, developers and such, plus local management.

Environment and climate

At Native Coders, we believe that any company must work in harmony with the climate and our planet. Our primary emissions stem from electricity usage in our Nairobi office. Given Kenya's climate, heating is not a significant concern; instead, our energy consumption mainly involves lighting and powering our computers. We conduct most of our meetings online and endeavor to use trains and public transportation for any necessary in-person client meetings in Sweden. Within Kenya, our team predominantly relies on matatus (public minibus taxis) for commuting to the office, unless working from home, as we use a hybrid work model.
